Usage:
1.Surface Preparation:Hold the stone and place it on a horizontal surface. Use a spirit level to ensure proper leveling.Polish the stone to a finish between #50 and #300 grit to achieve a smooth surface.
2.Mixing:Thoroughly mix components A and B in a 1:1 weight ratio.Allow the mixture to stand for 3-5 minutes. Some bubbles will naturally dissipate during this time.
3.Tool Selection:For large areas, a plastic scraper with serrated teeth is recommended for optimal control of the adhesive thickness. For smaller areas, a brush can be used.
4. Application:Pour the mixed adhesive evenly onto the stone.Apply the adhesive in a horizontal and then vertical motion to ensure complete coverage.The recommended adhesive thickness is 1.2mm.
5.Air Bubble Removal:Quickly use a gas torch to gently burn the surface of the stone.Only the areas with visible air bubbles require torching.
6.Application Time:Complete all application steps within 30 minutes. The adhesive will become increasingly difficult to level after this time.
7. Curing:After application, cover the treated area with a protective shield. Allow the adhesive to dry for a minimum of 10 hours.Maximum hardness is achieved after 10 days of curing.
8. Usage Calculation:Calculate the required amount of adhesive based on an average consumption of 650 grams per square meter.A minimum application rate of 500 grams per square meter is required for proper leveling.Each kit contains 2 kilograms of adhesive,sufficient to cover approximately 3 square meters.
